Dad and I were very excited to be part of the 64th anniversary of D-Day 0n Friday June 6th 2008.  We attended with our good friend Roger.  It was a hot humid day, but not a cloud in the sky as the memorable patriotic event brought tears to our eyes. At the end of the event a reception of the approximately 20 of the remaining D day vets greeted all the visitors.  Dad was very excited to meet the honorable Mark R. Warner  Governor of the commonwealth.
